We are dedicated to deliver modern, classic childhood, heart warming, & timeless portraits. When we shoot portraits we exercise a style called Lifestyle portraiture. Lifestyle portraiture is a non-traditional modern style of photography popular in the U.S. It emphasizes on capturing the true personality and character of the subject through a journalistic spontaneous approach and by de-emphasizing the use of unnatural lighting, poses, props and costumes. By putting the subject in their most comfortable environment—their home, park, city or the beach we are able to capture only the most natural expressions, and focus on the little details that make your children who they truly are.

What to expect

Before our session, we will have a short consultation either by phone or email to discuss how many are the subjects, the venue, time, and attire. For most clients this would be their home. Other popular places would be the garden, parks or the nursery. We recommend for the attire to be as simple as possible. Plain solid colors normally produce a timeless look that we would like to achieve. Since we prefer shooting using natural light the best time for this is early morning or late afternoon. Of course, there will be circumstances when we will need to use a fill flash when the place is too dark. Expect the shooting to be as light and pressure free as possible. Your child being forced to pose and say cheese in the camera is the last thing we want to have. Lastly, your creative input is most welcome, our goal here is to capture the simplest of moments and make them look spectacular and have loads of fun in the process.
